Children Interacting

Our main goal here at Wolf Creek Habitat is to educate young, old,

and in between about our wolves.

Part of that education includes interaction with the wolves.

What better way than to be face to face with one, getting lots of kisses

and yes sometimes scratches.

The height requirement for children interacting (16 years old and younger) is 60" or 5 feet tall.

We will measure any child that wishes to interact with our height chart in the gift shop. If they do not meet the 60" (5 feet tall) requirement on our chart, they will not be allowed to interact.

NO EXCEPTIONS

PLEASE RESPECT THIS DECISION FOR THE SAFETY OF YOUR CHILDREN!

The wolves often get very excited and playful when greeting visitors and this can result in scratches or other fast movements which can be frightening for children. We have had incidents where a child may scream, yell, or cry if they are unintentionally scratched or scared by the wolves' natural greeting behaviors and try to get away, which only intensifies the situation.

We understand you may have big dogs at home but please remember these are wolves, not big dogs.

One other request from our volunteers:

Parents if you are coming to interact & your children are too young please find a sitter.
